The Unbridled China Ranch was formally established in June 2013 in the Taishizhuang Village of Huailai, Zhangjiakou, Hebei. Located on five acres on the Kangxi Grasslands just north of Beijing, the area is known traditionally as a destination for city residents looking to escape to experience clean air, peace and tranquility on horseback.
As the home of the American Quarter Horse Association in China, the Unbridled China Ranch serves as a professional training facility for both American and Chinese-bred stock lesson and show horses that are used throughout China. With a mission of improving the level of horsemanship in China, the ranch regularly hosts training clinics and organizes Western horse shows around China.
The recently renovated facilities include three separate barns with a total of 30 stalls, wash rack, four outdoor arenas and a 15 meter round pen. In 2017, Unbridled China completed the renovation of the first permanent mountain trail course in China. In addition, the facilities include staff accommodations and an office.
